Anaya and Jer are getting hitched. We've been together for four years now and we are madly, sappily in love. We've already started to build a life together and it's time to think about things like sharing health insurance.
We want to share our happiness with you. We want you to be involved in our celebration of life and love. In a perfect world, all of our friends and family would reside tidily within a hundred miles of each other and we would invite everyone and have a huge party and maybe drink a bit too much.
This is not that world.
We have amazing and wonderful family and friends all over the damn place. Throwing a party in any one of those places wouldn't be fair to everyone else. Also, we're shy.
So, we've made some compromises. We plan to say our vows on a beach in the Florida Keys on January 1st, 2016 with Janet, Lavina and Desi as our witnesses. We will share pictures here and we hope you will view them and imagine the sand between your toes, too. We wish it were feasible to travel from place to place celebrating with all of you, but it just isn't. Until it is, we'll have a little virtual party here.
