Wedding Trip: Wrapping up and Heading Home

Our last few days in the Keys were overcast, but nice. We spent them at the pool. It felt very opulent to be drinking margaritas in the hot tub looking out over the ocean.

On Monday night, the weather cleared up just in time for a beautiful sunset we watched from the outside eating area of Lazy Days Restaurant.

I've never seen Wines on Draft before, but there's the first time for everything I guess.

While we were in the keys, we stopped by a Sandal Factory outlet, and Jer found flip flops to replace his very old, very worn sandals. Here he is pondering his sandal options while looking piratey.

On Tuesday night, we felt even lazier so we orded Pizza in, which was pretty good. Wednesday we packed up the minivan early, and headed back up the keys. It rained for most of our drive up- and we were all very happy that the rest of our trip had been fairly dry.

We were able to meet up for lunch with a few local roller derby / chicks in bowls ladies- which was awesome. We had a few hours to kill as we reached Miami, but all of us felt like we were maybe catching colds, and decided to head to the airport early. Which was good, because the Miami airport is a shitshow. At any rate, we're all home and safe now.
